Disney Crossover

Especially with the emerging mega-franchise that is Frozen, Disnerds (Disney nerds for you normal folks) have been hard at work to spot hidden links between multiple Disney movies. For example, you can see Rapunzel and Flynn Rider/Eugene walking into the castle in Arendelle for Elsa's coronation. Stuff like that.
These always seemed pretty interesting, but lately I noticed a major one in my favorite Disney princess movie - The Princess and the Frog.

**spoilers ahead if you still haven' seen it**

In the Princess and the Frog, Ray the Cajun lightning bug notes that his true love is Evangeline, and that she is a star in the sky.

When Ray dies, he joins her, and a second bright star arises up in the sky right next to the first.

So here is my theory:

Two stars in the sky . . . Disney . . .
Second Star to the Right anyone?

For a side by side comparison, here are the stars from Disney's animated Peter Pan.

So, my theory is that because Ray and Evangeline became stars through Ray's true love for Evangeline, they became magical stars and lead to other places. They became the two stars to which Peter Pan follows to get to Neverland.

This may not be as significant as finding Rapunzel in Arendelle or the Pizza Planet truck in the Pixar movies, and it's not anywhere close to the Pixar Theory, but it is something and pretty interesting if you ask me.

So, just follow the "Second star to the right, and straight on till morning" and I'm sure other Disney fans and followers will meet you there.

Never Have I Ever

Never have I ever written a blog.
Blogging has always seemed a daunting task. Which host should I use, how often to post, Will anyone even read my posts? These questions have plagued me every time I have tried to start a blog or some sort of online project.

Those questions will be answered soon enough, as I begin a journey through deadlines and doing things. However, "try it" they say; "it will be fun" they say.

This is probably just going to end up as something I do every once in a while, with posts on whatever seems to be a pressing matter at the moment.

Either way, I hope that anyone who happens upon this will read and enjoy, and maybe even visit again.
